Limited Edition Print - Sylvie Auvray, Elvira, 2014
Sylvie Auvray works between Paris and Los Angeles, moving across ceramics, photography, and other mediums to explore the alchemy of materials — strange creatures born from found objects and images. She has shown at Francesca Pia, Chantal Crousel, and MAMCO.
At Il Bisonte, Auvray set aside the etching stylus and worked directly with inks on copper, letting the process lead. What emerged was a ghostly focal point — the print named after Elvira, the local legend of a young woman said to wander the woods of Villa Lena.
All proceeds support the Villa Lena Foundation.
