Shaun McDowell is a British painter and curator based in Italy, known for vibrant abstract work that fuses figurative and landscape elements with a raw, energetic edge. A founding member of Lyndhurst Way, he was central to the emerging art scene in Peckham, and has shown and curated internationally.
At Villa Lena, the Tuscan landscape pulled him toward printmaking at Il Bisonte — a process he approached not as reproduction but as its own act of creation. Spontaneous marks, unrestrained colour, the studio itself breathing into the work.
All proceeds support the Villa Lena Foundation.
