A refined Tuscan red made from 100% organic Sangiovese, aged 12 months in oak and 3 months in bottle. Produced in limited quantities each year on Villa Lena's estate — set along the ley line of San Michele, the patron saint who slayed the dragon.

• Nose: Vanilla, wood
• Palate: Juicy plum, dark berries, soft tannins
• Pairing: Beef, veal, lamb, game, charcuterie, strong cheese, dark chocolate

Serve at 8–18°C in a crystal stem glass — or chilled over ice on a hot summer day. Store horizontally in a cool, dark place.
